The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naughton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Horrible takedown by Van Der Dick or perhaps it was just good defense by Naughton which made him look bad.

Van Der Dick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Naughton pinned against the cage. Naughton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oh Van Der Dick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Van Der Dick is breathing heavily.

Van Der Dick closes the distance and pushes Naughton back into the cage.

Naughton has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Van Der Dick has Naughton pressed against the cage, preventing Naughton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Naughton cracks Van Der Dick with a nice body shot.
Van Der Dick fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Naughton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Naughton gets through Van Der Dick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Naughton gets through Van Der Dick's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Naughton.

Naughton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Naughton scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Naughton steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Van Der Dick is out on his feet! Naughton sets himself and nearly takes Van Der Dick's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
