Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julian Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Mohammed Muller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Gomez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 2, fighting out of London, Mohammed Muller!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez tries for a takedown but Muller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gomez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gomez shoots in looking for a takedown. Muller tries to sprawl out of it but Gomez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Muller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gomez.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Gomez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gomez throws a series of punches but Muller avoids them all with ease.
Gomez lands a lovely overhand right.
Muller clinches.
Gomez can't break the clinch.
Muller throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gomez blocks it with crossed arms.
Muller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gomez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Gomez has hold of one of Muller's legs. Muller is fighting the takedown attempt but Gomez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Gomez throws and elbow that misses. Muller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gomez's guard. Nice move by Muller!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Muller defends it easily.
Gomez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gomez has his foot on Muller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muller works his way back into a safe position though.

Muller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gomez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Muller has managed to get both his arms back between Gomez's legs - danger averted.
Gomez wants to sweep here but Muller controlling him for the moment.

Gomez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Muller should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gomez has tightened it up now! Muller should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
