Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uriel Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez has chosen Big Pun-Dream Shatterer as his entrance music. Edward Mendez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mendez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Angel did well to prevent Mendez getting side control.
