The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mitchell misses with a looping right.
Mitchell thows a body shot but no joy.
Anderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mitchell.
Anderson defending well as Mitchell loads up on a big left hand.
Anderson scores with a shot to the body.
Mitchell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Mitchell.
Mitchell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Anderson lands with a shot to the body.

Anderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mitchell throws a jab when Anderson was well out of range.
Mitchell throws a hook but Anderson avoids it easily.
Mitchell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anderson as he jumps to the side.

Anderson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mitchell is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchell throws a right hand that Anderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Anderson also avoids with ease.
Mitchell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Anderson lands a nice shot that snaps Mitchell's head back.
Danga de danga de dang - Anderson scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Jason Mitchell has been cut.
Anderson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mitchell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jason Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mitchell is rocked!
Anderson dances in with a quick combination. Mitchell is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Anderson snaps Mitchell's head back. Mitchell stumbles backwards against the cage. Anderson steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Mitchell's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Mitchell just didn't come prepared.
