Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Dinero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinero lands a glancing blow to the side of Barrett's head.
Barrett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dinero was well out of range. Poor timing from Barrett.
Barrett lands a head shot.
Barrett lands a nice hook to Dinero's body. Dinero takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Dinero closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dinero lands in his opponent's guard.
Barrett seems keen to control Dinero's posture.
Dinero trying to control the position from guard on top but Barrett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dinero wants to pass the guard but Barrett is keeping the position.

Dinero has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Barrett is proving hard to escape from.
Dinero advances to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrett gets full guard.
Barrett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dinero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barrett wants to sweep but no luck.
Barrett wants to get back to his feet but Dinero is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dinero cracks Barrett with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Barrett lands with an uppercut that bounces Dinero off the cage and back into rage.
Barrett's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Barrett duly obliges.

It looks like Andrew Dinero has been cut.
Barrett ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dinero is breathing heavily.
Barrett fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Some wild striking there from Barrett.
Dinero takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice cross by Barrett.

Barrett drops Dinero with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dinero looks back up at him and smiles so Barrett waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dinero is rocked!
Barrett throws a pinpoint strike between Dinero's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Dinero crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Barrett scores a great knockout victory!
