Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boom is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fedor Entrance Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Black did well to prevent Boom getting side control.
Black won't allow Boom to pass to mount.
Boom throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Black makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Black.
Boom trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Black manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Boom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Black defends well.

Boom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Black defends it easily.

Boom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Black.

Boom sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Black's guard.

Black has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boom is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Black misses with a hook. Boom ducked under it nicely.
Black throws a hook but Boom blocks it.
Black swings for the body but Boom moves out of range.

Boom is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black wants to control but Boom is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Boom seems to be working for a kimura but Black defends the submission attempt.

Boom is stalling here. Black is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Boom seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Black has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Black wants to control the pace but Boom is squirming around nicely.

Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boom.
Boom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boom shoots in looking for a takedown. Black tries to sprawl out of it but Boom keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Black manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Black clobbers Boom with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Boom will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boom tries to score a power double leg takedown but Black sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boom somewhat.

Boom wants to work for an arm triangle but Black is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Boom takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boom swings for the body but Black moves out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Black throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Boom drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Black manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Boom has Black in his guard.
Boom is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
Black is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
