Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dennis Wise!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wise throws a series of punches but Scott moves out of range.

Scott pushes Wise up against the cage in a clinch.
Wise tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Scott smiles and moves away.

Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wise's guard.
Wise not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wise wants to stand but Scott is controlling the position.
Scott showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wise looking for a guillotine here but Scott defends easily.
Scott not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Scott is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wise wants to stand but Scott is controlling the position.
Scott has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wise manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Wise looking to control but Scott is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wise throwing strikes here but Scott is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wise wants to control the pace but Scott is squirming around nicely.
Scott is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wise trying to control but Scott is having none of it.
Scott tries to lock up and control but Wise gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Scott swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Wise fails to move to back control.
Scott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scott tries to get out of the position.

Scott is looking to improve his position but Wise isn't that keen on the idea.

Wise stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Wise rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wise misses with a wild combination.
Wise fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wise fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scott shoots for a takedown but Wise saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wise gets a takedown into half guard.
Scott is trying is best to control the position here.
Scott is not content to let Wise control the position.
Wise wants to pass the guard but Scott is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wise in particular looking to stall.
Wise trying to pass the guard but Scott defending well.
Scott moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wise trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wise would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dennis Wise will probably get the nod.
That's time! Scott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wise throws a wild body kick that Scott sees coming a mile off.
Scott is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wise closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wise lands in his opponent's guard.
Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wise trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom.
Wise postures up.
Wise wants to get up but he can't break Scott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Scott keeping moving, preventing Wise from controlling successfully.

Wise looking to pass the guard.
Wise pushing down on Scott's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Scott moves into full guard.

Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wise doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wise manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wise passes Scott's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Scott controlling the position well.
Scott is not content to let Wise control the position.

Scott keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Scott is looking to control Wise's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Scott avoid being mounted?
Wise tries to pass to full mount but Scott defends it.
Wise tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Scott is doing well to control the position and prevent Wise from advancing to side control.
Wise is keen to just control but Scott is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wise.

Scott clinches with his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Scott pulls Wise into guard.
Wise passes into half guard.
Scott is not content to let Wise control the position.
Scott blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wise.
Wise missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Scott is refusing to be controlled, as Wise sits in half guard.
Wise might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Scott kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Wise is working for a submission of some sort.

Wise decides to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Scott scores with a one two! Wise had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wise's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wise duly obliges.
Wise shoots in for a double leg but Scott sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Scott darts in and clinches Wise up against the cage.

Scott has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wise regains guard immediately.

Scott decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nice defenses there by Scott.
A leg kick checked by Scott.
Scott plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wise shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wise trying to control but Scott is having none of it.
Scott wants to control but Wise is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Dennis Wise will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Scott shoots and misses
and Wise counters with a left and a right that stings Scott.


Scott is rocked!
Wise lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Scott is looking to close the distance but Wise sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Scott crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Scott is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
