Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marko Flipovic!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ghotha shoots in and bounces Flipovic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ghotha is working Flipovic over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ghotha postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Flipovic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Flipovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghotha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ghotha lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Flipovic pushes Ghotha off and gets back to his feet.

Ghotha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Flipovic's guard.
Ghotha stops Flipovic from standing up.
Ghotha postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Flipovic looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ghotha lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flipovic manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ghotha tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Flipovic wants to control the pace but Ghotha is squirming around nicely.
Ghotha is looking to get to half guard.
Ghotha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ghotha regains half guard.
Ghotha manages to get to full guard.

Ghotha looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Flipovic wants to control from the top but Ghotha keeps moving.

Flipovic trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ghotha's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ghotha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ghotha thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flipovic's head.
Ghotha landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ghotha throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ghotha missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Ghotha slips a nice elbow through Flipovic's hands, connecting with Flipovic's forehead.
Flipovic avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ghotha.
Ghotha is nestled in close to Flipovic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ghotha is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Flipovic is rocked!
Ghotha scores with a big shot! Flipovic's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Flipovic! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
