The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee avoids the body shot from Escobar.
Escobar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Escobar.
A big left from Lee misses.
Lee lands a right hook to the body.
Escobar throws a body kick that misses.
Lee blocks a jab.
Lee drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Escobar looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Escobar is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lee thows a big elbow that misses.
Lee stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Escobar throws up his legs and catches Lee in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Lee tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Escobar! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Juan Escobar!
