Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spider Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pad Digger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Spider Machida has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Spider Machida seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Digger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Machida but Machida pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Machida scores with a body shot.
Machida throws a series of punches but Digger avoids them all with ease.
Digger fails with a takedown attempt.
Digger defending well as Machida loads up on a big left hand.
Machida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Spider Machida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pad Digger.
Digger fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Digger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Digger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Machida but Machida pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Machida ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Digger moves away.
Machida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Machida looks to score with a jab to the body but Digger is just out of range.
Digger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Machida keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Digger avoids the attempt from Machida to control.
Digger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Machida is looking for a sweep. Digger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Digger is controlling the pace.
Digger stops Machida from getting back to his feet.
Digger not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Machida wants to improve his position but Digger is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Digger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machida keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Machida misses the jab.
Machida leaves Digger with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Machida's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Machida throws a series of punches but Digger moves out of range.
Machida throws a push kick but Digger slaps the foot to one side.
Digger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Machida is trying to defend but Digger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Digger is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Machida is looking to improve his position.
Digger wants to take a breather but Machida is having none of it.

Digger wants to control but Machida is keeping him busy.
Digger is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Machida slaps away a takedown attempt from Digger, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Machida connects with a single shot there.
Digger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Machida defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Digger walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Machida is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Digger shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Machida holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Machida moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Digger is fighting to break Machida's control of his arms but Machida is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Digger sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Machida's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Pad Digger will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Digger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Digger showed some decent athleticism there.
Machida tries to get to full guard but Digger has control of the leg.
Digger is taking a breather. Machida says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Machida keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Digger trying to mount his opponent but Machida defends it.
Digger not doing much here.

Machida is not content to let Digger control the position.
Machida trying to control but Digger postures up.
Digger is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Machida is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Digger fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machida avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Digger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Machida finds it's way round the side to connect with Digger's head.
Machida throws a combination. Digger tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Digger shoots in and drives through. Machida sprawls well.
A shot to the liver by Machida. Beautiful body shot.
Machida is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Machida throws a good cross that connects.
Digger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Machida punishes Digger's body with a nice straight punch.
Digger has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Machida.
Machida misses with a looping right.
Machida throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Machida rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Digger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Spider Machida showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Machida has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
