Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Shilt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan comes into the arena with The real American blaring out of the sound system. Alan Shilt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hogan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Shilt wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Hogan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hogan seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Shilt is holding on tight.
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
BOOM! Hogan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hogan is landing with some decent strikes but Shilt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Shilt is trying to stand up.
Hogan content just to control the position here.

Hogan has hold of Shilt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shilt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hulk Hogan dominated that round.
That's time! Hogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hogan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Shilt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hogan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogan thows a huge punch but Shilt dodges it nicely.

Hogan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shilt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hogan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hogan throwing strikes here but Shilt is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hogan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Shilt has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Shilt tries to reverse the position but Hogan maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hulk Hogan dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Shilt throws a sloppy head kick and Hogan moves out of range easily.

Hogan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Shilt napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hogan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Shilt parries the strikes from Hogan easily there. Hogan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shilt to escape.

Shilt tries to buck Hogan off but Hogan is having none of it.

Hogan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shilt has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hogan but great work by Shilt.
Shilt wants to stand but Hogan has his arm trapped.
Hogan gets back to half guard.
Hogan is controlling Shilt's trapped leg to prevent Shilt from advancing to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Shilt is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hogan reverses the position - he's now on top in Shilt's guard.
Hogan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hulk Hogan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hulk Hogan showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Hogan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
