Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Svenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Fife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svenn comes to the cage accompanied by We Taking Over. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fife escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Svenn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Svenn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Fife in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fife looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Fife not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fife might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Svenn kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
