Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paublo Fransisco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paublo Fransisco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fransisco misses with a series of wild punches.
Morgan tries to clinch but Fransisco is having none of it.
Morgan looks for a takedown but Fransisco sprawls well.
Fransisco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morgan.
Morgan dives in and grabs Fransisco's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fransisco pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out.
Paublo Fransisco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Morgan.

Fransisco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Morgan has time to react.

Fransisco clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage.
Morgan tries for a takedown but Fransisco manages to get underhooks.
Morgan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fransisco just stands there and leans against the cage.
Morgan keeps control of Fransisco as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fransisco lands with a left to the head.
Fransisco lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Morgan backwards.
Fransisco tries to break free but Morgan pushes him back against the cage.
Fransisco stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Morgan tries for a takedown. No joy.

Fransisco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morgan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Fransisco is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Morgan.

Fransisco has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fransisco has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fransisco gets through Morgan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Fransisco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fransisco stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Fransisco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fransisco darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Morgan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Morgan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fransisco stalks Morgan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Morgan's face. Morgan staggers backwards, shaken.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fransisco is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fransisco lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fransisco lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morgan circles away quickly and effectively.

Fransisco leaves Morgan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fransisco tries to bum rush Morgan with a series of wild strikes but Morgan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morgan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fransisco's waist but Fransisco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morgan off to one side.

Morgan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fransisco walks away with a smile on his face. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fransisco is pressing down on Morgan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morgan is holding on for now.
Morgan is looking to control Fransisco's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morgan avoid being mounted?
Morgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morgan.
Fransisco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Morgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fransisco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Morgan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morgan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fransisco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morgan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fransisco pinned against the cage. Fransisco gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Fransisco counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Morgan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Morgan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fransisco uses from the top position.
Fransisco not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Fransisco looking to sit in guard and control but Morgan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Paublo Fransisco is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Morgan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fransisco is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morgan, into his guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paublo Fransisco showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fransisco, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
