The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sakuragi.
A good leg kick by Silverstav.
Silverstav throws a head kick that Sakuragi semi-blocks.

Sakuragi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silverstav's guard.
Sakuragi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Silverstav is looking to stand up but Sakuragi isn't so interested in that idea.
Sakuragi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sakuragi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silverstav scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silverstav lands with a kick to the temple. Sakuragi shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Sakuragi is looking to clinch.
Sakuragi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silverstav circles away.
Silverstav fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sakuragi.
Sakuragi is breathing heavily.
Silverstav throws a head kick but Sakuragi moves out of range.
Silverstav throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sakuragi is rocked!
Silverstav misses with a head kick.
Silverstav Rushes Sakuragi and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Sakuragi is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Silverstav Piles on the pressure and Sakuragi crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
