The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shlemenko is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Shlemenko circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva shoots in but Shlemenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Silva shoots in for a takedown but Shlemenko shows good takedown defense.

Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shlemenko pulls his leg out and moves away.

It looks like Chubasquinaldo Silva has been cut.
Shlemenko throws a combination. Silva tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Shlemenko shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Shlemenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shlemenko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Silva is rocked!
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Shlemenko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice uppercut there from Shlemenko.
Shlemenko goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Shlemenko finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shlemenko is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Silva hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
