Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Logan Blinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Logan Blinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Foster!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blinn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Foster napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Blinn is trying to get an arm triangle but Foster is defending well.

Blinn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Blinn working away.
Blinn with the ground and pound but Foster regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Foster is looking to improve his position.

Blinn is working for a kimura but Foster is defending it quite comfortably.
Foster is positioning himself well to prevent Blinn advancing to mount.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Foster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Foster is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blinn is just riding it out for now. Foster eventually gives up the hold.
Foster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blinn keeps working.

Foster is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Blinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foster on the ground.

Foster prevents Blinn from improving his position.
Foster wants to take a breather but Blinn is having none of it.
Blinn is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blinn trying to control from the bottom.
Foster keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Blinn is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Foster gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Blinn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Foster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Blinn uses from the top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Blinn throws and elbow that misses. Foster uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blinn's guard. Nice move by Foster!

Blinn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Foster postures up and lands a big shot to Blinn's brow.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Logan Blinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blinn tries for a takedown but Foster circles away easily

and Foster counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Blinn's guard now.
Blinn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Foster is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blinn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Blinn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Foster to the mat! Foster manages to get full guard.

Blinn is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Foster holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Blinn tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Foster is trying desperately to improve position.
Foster flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Blinn manages to capitalize on a mistake by Foster to take his back!
Blinn somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Blinn looking to break Foster's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Foster remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Blinn will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Foster holding on to Blinn's left wrist, preventing the choke.
Foster trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Foster manages to reverse the position and now he's in Blinn's guard. Nice work there by Foster.

Blinn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Foster.

Foster with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster throws a strike but Blinn avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Foster wanted to stand there but Blinn had control of the position.
Blinn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Foster is one step ahead there.
Blinn keeping moving, preventing Foster from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Blinn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Foster closes the distance and pushes Blinn back into the cage.

Foster has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Blinn clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Blinn prevents Foster from getting a body triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Blinn is having to fend off submission attempts from Foster, who is looking to sink in the choke. Foster doesn't have the hooks in though and Blinn manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Logan Blinn will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Foster tries to clinch up but Blinn circles away and keeps his distance.
Blinn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Foster gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Blinn to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Blinn drops back, looking for a kneebar! Foster looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Foster looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Foster!
Foster advances nicely into full mount.
Blinn is bucking up trying to escape but Foster cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Foster looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Foster looking to control but Blinn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Foster has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blinn's face.
Foster tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Foster punishing his opponent with strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Foster landing strikes from the mount.
Foster wants to control the pace but Blinn is squirming around nicely.
Blinn is just holding on here. Foster manages to take his back.
Foster has Blinn flattened out and is raining down punches.

Foster has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Foster is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

Foster is not going to allow Blinn to sit and survive in this position.

Blinn tries to roll but Foster sticks to his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Matt Foster has got the better of the ground game so far.
Blinn rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Foster is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blinn sees it coming and defends easily.
Blinn wants to improve his position but Foster is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Matt Foster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Foster has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
