The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson cracks Mysteryo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mysteryo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?

It looks like Ray Mysteryo has been cut.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mysteryo tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mysteryo to the ground. Mysteryo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tommy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mysteryo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ray Mysteryo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mysteryo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Johnson throws a jab when Mysteryo was well out of range.

Mysteryo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and Mysteryo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
