Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chunk Splitso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Kennedy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splitso lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kennedy's sensitive parts.
Kennedy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kennedy wants it to stay on the feet.
Kennedy stuffs the takedown attempt from Splitso. Splitso gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Splitso.

Kennedy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Kennedy lands with a nice combination. Splitso backs away looking to recover.
Kennedy dives in and grabs Splitso's left leg, looking for a takedown. Splitso pushes down on Kennedy's head and hops out.
Kennedy throws a combination. Splitso tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Splitso shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kennedy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kennedy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Splitso postures up in Kennedy's guard and throws a big left but Kennedy blocks it.
Splitso prevents Kennedy from getting back to his feet.
Splitso might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Splitso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kennedy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Splitso is one step ahead there.
Splitso trying to control but Kennedy is working from the bottom.
Splitso drops back looking for a leg! Kennedy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kennedy manages to kick Splitso off! Splitso jumps back into Kennedy's guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Splitso leaves Kennedy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Splitso scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Splitso working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Splitso looks up at the clock and then as Kennedy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Splitso smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kennedy is letting Splitso control him for a moment.
Splitso looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Splitso goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kennedy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Splitso but great work by Kennedy.

Kennedy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Splitso down.
Kennedy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Splitso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Splitso struggling a bit here.
Splitso manages to get back to half guard.
Kennedy has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Splitso works to full guard.
Splitso has his foot on Kennedy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kennedy works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kennedy lands a couple of digs.
Kennedy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Splitso to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kennedy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Splitso pulls down on the head and he's put Kennedy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chunk Splitso!
