Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between paul jacare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and muhammed ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jacare connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like muhammed ali has been cut.
ali looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
jacare darts in and clinches ali up against the cage.
ali wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
jacare jumps into guard, dragging ali to the mat.
ali avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
jacare controlling ali's posture.
ali must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
jacare scrambles and gets back to his feet.

jacare seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down ali for as long as he can get away with.

jacare closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
jacare passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for ali!
jacare postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. ali looks a forlorn figure.
jacare fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

jacare will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
ali wants to hold on but jacare pushes him away.

The referee stands the fighters back up. paul jacare just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
jacare fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
jacare closes the distance and clinches.
ali has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. jacare is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

jacare pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

ali is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, jacare asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee asks jacare politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. jacare prefers to stall for the moment though.
