Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues has chosen Ain't no Sunshine as his entrance music. Lucio Rodrigues told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lucio Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodrigues keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rivera stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rivera wants it to stay on the feet.
Rivera digs a good hook to Rodrigues's body.
Rodrigues takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rodrigues looks gassed!
Rivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rivera bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rodrigues's head backwards.

Rivera scores with a hook to the body. Rodrigues takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Rodrigues jumps guard but Rivera stands there with Rodrigues around his waist. Rodrigues gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Rivera lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rivera lands a nice hook to Rodrigues's body. Rodrigues takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rivera sends Rodrigues crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rivera is motioning to the referee to let Rodrigues up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Rodrigues bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Rivera comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Rodrigues falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Rodrigues was out before he hit the floor!
