Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Just Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Venom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Just Case has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Just Case!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mika Venom!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venom closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Venom blocks the strikes from Case.
Venom is looking to advance position but Case won't allow it.
Case moves into full guard.
Case has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Venom stands up from Case's guard - Venom perhaps looking for a knockout.
Venom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Case wants to control from the top but Venom keeps moving.
Venom looking for a sweep. Not yet Venom, not yet.
Case sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Venom wants to sweep here but Case controlling him for the moment.

Case looking to sit in guard and control but Venom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Case wants to stand but Venom is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Venom throwing strikes from guard but Case blocks nicely.
Venom gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Venom shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Venom was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Case is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Venom lands a big shot there that rocks Case but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Case is squirming around, avoiding Venom's attempts to control the action.
Venom controlling the position easily from mount.
Venom lands with some strikes.

Venom jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Case is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Case and Venom has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Venom decides to stand back up.
Venom finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Case misses with a takedown attempt
and Venom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Case won't be happy with that.
Case manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Venom slips a nice elbow through Case's hands, connecting with Case's forehead.
Case trying to control here.
Case is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Venom is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Venom looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Venom is keen to just control but Case is a slippery customer.

Case is not content to let Venom control the position.
Case regains full guard. Nicely done.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Case is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Venom wants to control from the top but Case keeps moving.
Case is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Venom rolls with it to try and escape but Case cranks on the arm and Venom is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
