Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and murray mintz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes into the arena with Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi blaring out of the sound system. mintz has chosen Smack My Bitch Up- The Prodigy as his entrance music. Bret Hill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

mintz moves into the clinch.
mintz slowing the pace effectively.
mintz looking to throw knees to the head but Hill is blocking nicely.
mintz prevents a takedown attempt there.

mintz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

mintz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hill, pushing him back against the cage.

Hill moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, mintz has worked his arm free - good work by mintz!

Hill throws a strike aimed at the side of mintz's head but mintz avoids it well.

Hill tries to score with some ground and pound. mintz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hill avoids the head kick by mintz.
mintz throws a sloppy head kick and Hill moves out of range easily.
murray mintz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

mintz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hill shoots in looking for a takedown. mintz tries to sprawl out of it but Hill keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. mintz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

mintz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

mintz tries to close the distance and clinch but Hill swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from mintz.
Hill tries for a takedown. No joy.

mintz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A slapping body kick lands there for mintz.
Hill is breathing heavily.
mintz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hill shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. mintz defends it nicely.
mintz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hill.

mintz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hill blocks it with crossed arms.

Bret Hill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before mintz can pounce on him.
mintz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hill. That did some damage!
Nice body kick there by mintz.

mintz drives through and clinches with Hill against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hill wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. mintz just stands there and leans against the cage.

A head kick from mintz lands but Hill takes it in his stride.

Hill is rocked!
mintz feints a jab and as Hill dips his head, mintz unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Hill right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Hill falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! mintz smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
