The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd cheers as Mc Kicker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marsh doesn't seem phased though.

Marsh shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mc Kicker is trying to defend but Marsh finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mc Kicker is trying to reverse the position but instead Marsh has taken his back - oops!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Mc Kicker is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Mc Kicker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Marsh's guard. Nice work there by Mc Kicker.
Mc Kicker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marsh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mc Kicker is looking to work some ground and pound but Marsh has wrist control.

Mc Kicker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Marsh is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mc Kicker, into his guard.

Mc Kicker looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Marsh has picked Mc Kicker up and slammed him! Mc Kicker can't keep hold of the triangle and Marsh manages to pass to side control!
Mc Kicker is breathing heavily.

Marsh stands up and beckons Mc Kicker to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Marsh wants to free his trapped foot but Mc Kicker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Randy Marsh dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A combination from Mc Kicker does no damage.
Marsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mc Kicker.
Mc Kicker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mc Kicker slips a straight right by Marsh.
Mc Kicker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marsh moves away.

Marsh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mc Kicker tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Marsh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Marsh stands up from mount. Strange move.
The crowd cheers as Mc Kicker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marsh doesn't seem phased though.

Marsh gets a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Mc Kicker's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Marsh has picked Mc Kicker up - he's going for a ride! Marsh dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mc Kicker wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Marsh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Marsh is breathing heavily.

Marsh stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Mc Kicker to get to his feet.

Mc Kicker lunges at Marsh with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Marsh's hand.
Marsh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Luke Mc Kicker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marsh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mc Kicker cracks Marsh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Marsh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Marsh has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Marsh gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mc Kicker regains guard.

Marsh is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mc Kicker's half guard.
Marsh is taking a breather. Mc Kicker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mc Kicker wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Randy Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Marsh lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Marsh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mc Kicker tries to improve position but can't.

Marsh decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Marsh throws a combination. Mc Kicker tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Mc Kicker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Marsh.

Marsh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mc Kicker throws and elbow that misses. Marsh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mc Kicker's guard. Nice move by Marsh!

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Marsh takes a little break here. Mc Kicker wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mc Kicker tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Marsh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Marsh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Mc Kicker is trying to reverse the position but instead Marsh has taken his back - oops!
Marsh is hanging on to Mc Kicker's back as he tries to escape.
Randy Marsh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Randy Marsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
