Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Tohump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tohump looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Emelianenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Tohump closes the distance and clinches.

Emelianenko breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Emelianenko. No joy for Tohump on that attempt.
Tohump shoots in for a double leg but Emelianenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Tohump counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Emelianenko is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Tohump has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Emelianenko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Tohump. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Emelianenko is trying to break the clinch but Tohump has him pressed against the cage.

Tohump breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tohump shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Emelianenko pinned against the cage. Emelianenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Emelianenko wants to get back to his feet but Tohump is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tohump controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Tohump is in close to Emelianenko's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tohump postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tohump works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tohump is nestled in close to Emelianenko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tohump is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tohump passes the guard and advances to mount!

Tohump lands with some strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Emelianenko's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Tohump is landing with some decent strikes but Emelianenko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Tohump connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tohump steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Emelianenko is out on his feet! Tohump sets himself and nearly takes Emelianenko's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ivan Tohump!
