Knox comes to the cage accompanied by "Another Body Murdered". Castiglione is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: War Zone - Rob Zombie. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Francis Castiglione!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castiglione throws a body punch but Knox moves out of range.
Knox throws a looping overhand right but Castiglione ducks down to avoid it.
Castiglione lands an overhand right.


It looks like John Knox has been cut.
Castiglione throws a nice looking combination but Knox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Castiglione throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed right hand from Castiglione misses the target.
Knox has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Knox there as he acknowledges the shot.
Castiglione looks to land a combination but Knox avoids it well.

Knox ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Castiglione misses with an uppercut. Knox saw that one coming.
Francis Castiglione seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox cracks a nice hook into Castiglione's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knox digs a good hook to Castiglione's body.
Castiglione looks gassed!
Castiglione looks to land a right hand but Knox moved out of range.
Castiglione closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Knox throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Castiglione on the side of the head.
Knox fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Knox lands a jab to Castiglione's midsection.
Castiglione dodges the punch combination from Knox.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


Castiglione is rocked!
Castiglione takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Castiglione is still on wobbly legs! Can Knox finish him?

Knox scores with a hook to the body. Castiglione takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Knox is looking to wear down Castiglione with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Knox cracks Castiglione with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Castiglione tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Knox pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Castiglione is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Knox!
