Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Moukako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes to the cage accompanied by Song of Ice and Fire Art Collection. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin fails with a takedown attempt.

Moukako looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Moukako is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Martin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moukako is working away from the top position though.

Moukako is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Martin sees it coming and defends easily.

Moukako is looking for a kimura but Martin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moukako to get the leverage.
Martin looks like he's trying to stand up.
Martin is looking to improve his position.
Martin is trying to stand back up but Moukako is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Moukako dodges the punch combination from Martin.

Moukako throws a chopping leg kick but Martin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Moukako walks into a left hand.
Martin looks to land a left hand but Moukako moved out of range nicely.
Moukako keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Moukako gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Martin counters with a body kick that stops Moukako in his tracks momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sammy Moukako will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Moukako lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Martin!

Martin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Martin wants to get back to his feet.
Martin is looking for a sweep. Moukako is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Martin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moukako is working away from the top position though.
Martin tries to get to full guard but Moukako has control of the leg.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Martin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moukako's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moukako's back!
Martin lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Moukako takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Moukako manages to reverse the position and now he's in Martin's guard. Nice work there by Moukako.
Martin controls Moukako momentarily but Moukako frees himself.

Martin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Moukako throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Martin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Moukako working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Moukako decides to stand back up. Moukako steps back and let's Martin get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin scores with a decent looking hook.
Moukako fails with the takedown
and Martin counters with a good low kick that Moukako was not able to check.
Martin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Moukako closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Martin to the mat! Martin manages to get full guard.

Martin wants to sweep but no luck.
Martin keeping moving, preventing Moukako from controlling successfully.

Martin pushes a forearm under Moukako's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Moukako is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
