The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauteux goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
HANZ throws a head kick that misses.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kyle Fauteux will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fauteux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

HANZ throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fauteux was covering up waiting for the punch and HANZ finishes the takedown easily into guard.

HANZ looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fauteux has picked HANZ up and slammed him! HANZ can't keep hold of the triangle and Fauteux manages to pass to side control!

Fauteux knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for HANZ on the ground.

Fauteux postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! HANZ is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fauteux, into his guard.
Moritz HANZ has got the better of the ground game so far.

Fauteux is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked HANZ off and has taken his back!

Fauteux is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. HANZ defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Fauteux has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for HANZ.
