Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lion Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lion Gordon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lion Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Mac!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mac throws a series of punches but Gordon avoids them all with ease.
Mac doesn't manage to clinch there - Gordon circles away.
Mac tries to land a front kick but Gordon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mac lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gordon circles away quickly and effectively.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Gordon tries to keep at a distance but Mac has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gordon gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gordon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mac keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Gordon is looking for a kimura but Mac is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gordon to get the leverage.
Gordon tries to pass to full mount but Mac defends it.

Gordon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gordon winds up and cracks Mac with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Mac pushes Gordon off looking to stand but Gordon dives back in and keeps control.

Mac makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Mac throws a right and a left that Gordon avoids nicely.
Mac scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gordon in his tracks.

Mac ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mac closes the distance and clinches up with Gordon, looking for a takedown. Mac pushes Gordon against the cage but Gordon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gordon has closed the distance and engaged Mac in a clinch.
Mac tries to circle away but Gordon has him pinned against the cage.

Gordon has clasped his hands together around Mac's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Gordon tries to advance to mount but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gordon decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mac has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mac there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gordon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gordon keeps the fight on the outside.
Mac doesn't manage to clinch there - Gordon circles away.
Gordon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mac misses with a series of wild punches.

Gordon moves into the clinch.

Gordon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gordon avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mac displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Mac misses with the combination.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gordon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gordon tries to score with a low kick but Mac moves his leg out of the way.
Gordon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gordon is breathing heavily.
Gordon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mac rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gordon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gordon has Mac up against the cage in a clinch.
Mac takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mac wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Come on Gordon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gordon.
Mac keeps control of Gordon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gordon works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Gordon has Mac pressed against the cage, preventing Mac from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gordon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gordon goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mac prevents it.
Mac has had enough of the clinch but Gordon keeps him there for the moment.
Gordon is trying to maintain a safe position but Mac gets an underhook and turns Gordon into the cage.
Mac wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mac is trying to break the clinch but Gordon is controlling him.

Gordon has Mac pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gordon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mac tumbling to the mat - Gordon dives into Mac's guard.

Mac looking for a triangle here. Gordon is fighting it but it looks tight! Mac pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gordon is tapping out - this one is all over!
