Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Harlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Andre Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Andre Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Harlow is just out of range.
Harlow throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.
Harlow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones misses with the combination.

A jab-cross combination lands for Jones and sends Harlow crashing to the mat! Jones follows him down to the mat - Harlow regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Jones stalling.
Harlow is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Harlow is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
Jones tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Harlow.
Jones prevents Harlow from improving his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Harlow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.

Harlow shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Harlow from controlling successfully.
Jones wants to stand but Harlow is controlling the position.

Harlow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harlow, into his guard.

Harlow is trying to keep Jones in close.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Harlow avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harlow trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.

Harlow is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Harlow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones cracks a nice hook into Harlow's ribs.
