Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takshira Kenoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Carnage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takshira Kenoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chris Carnage!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnage thows a body shot but no joy.
Kenoki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kenoki tries to work over Carnage's front leg with a kick but Carnage checks it.
Kenoki misses with a two punch combination.
Carnage misses with a takedown

and Kenoki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Carnage is trying to control but can't.
Carnage controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Carnage throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Carnage regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kenoki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kenoki stops Carnage from standing up.
Kenoki stays in close to Carnage's body and controls the position.
Carnage is trying to hold Kenoki in close to prevent damage but Kenoki has managed to pass into half guard.
Carnage is trying to control but can't.
Kenoki is keen to just control but Carnage is a slippery customer.
Carnage is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kenoki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kenoki's back!

Kenoki rolls, trying to escape but Carnage keeps control of the position.

Carnage is not going to allow Kenoki to sit and survive in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenoki is breathing heavily.

Carnage working for a choke but Kenoki reverses nicely into Carnage 's guard.
Kenoki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kenoki is looking to work some ground and pound but Carnage has wrist control.
Kenoki throws a strike but Carnage rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Carnage passes Kenoki's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kenoki is trying to stand up here but Carnage is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Takshira Kenoki will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Carnage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Kenoki is keeping busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kenoki trying to control the action but Carnage just sinks the hooks in.

Kenoki wants to control his opponent's hands but Carnage gets his hands free.
Carnage is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Carnage is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kenoki is defending well though. Carnage let's go of the attempt for now.

You can see the frustration on Kenoki's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Carnage really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Kenoki.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carnage has good solid back control here.
Kenoki controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Carnage is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Kenoki up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Carnage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Kenoki swats away the attempt to clinch by Carnage.
Carnage misses with a kick to the body
and Kenoki counters with a one-two to the body.
Carnage takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Carnage looks to score with a jab to the body but Kenoki is just out of range.
Carnage circles away from the clinch attempt

and Carnage holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Carnage drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kenoki gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Carnage is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kenoki can't fight it off and eventually Carnage manages to take the fight to the floor. Kenoki looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Carnage stays in close to Kenoki's body and controls the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Carnage decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kenoki, up you get!
Kenoki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kenoki wants it to stay on the feet.
Carnage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kenoki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carnage swivels and escapes.
Kenoki goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Takshira Kenoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Carnage.
Carnage tries to buck Kenoki off but Kenoki is having none of it.

Kenoki tries to advance to mount but can't.

Carnage sneaks back into half guard.
Carnage is trying to get back to full guard.

Carnage makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Carnage pushes Kenoki up against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Carnage takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Carnage tries for a takedown. No joy.
Carnage tries to pull guard but Kenoki won't allow it.

Come on Kenoki - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kenoki is pressed up against the cage. Carnage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kenoki down to the mat. Kenoki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carnage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kenoki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chris Carnage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carnage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carnage looking to sit in guard and control but Kenoki gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Carnage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kenoki is fighting to break Carnage's control of his arms but Carnage is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Chris Carnage.
I think Carnage has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
