The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods stuffs the takedown.
Woods misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Woods throws a right hand that Assisi ducks under and follows up with a left that Assisi also avoids with ease.
Woods has managed to clinch.
Woods escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Assisi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Woods was covering up waiting for the punch and Assisi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Woods utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Assisi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Assisi is posturing up here but Woods has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Assisi tries to roll out but it's too tight and Assisi has to tap! Slick submission there by Woods!
