Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brat Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raviel Lockheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Brat Hitman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lockheart slaps away a takedown attempt from Hitman, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lockheart looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hitman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lockheart paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lockheart feints and as Hitman raises his hands in defense, Lockheart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hitman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Lockheart counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hitman's guard now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hitman throws a combination. Lockheart tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hitman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lockheart uses from the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lockheart should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Brat Hitman just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Hitman tries to close the distance and clinch but Lockheart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brat Hitman.
Well Hitman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
