Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pep Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heart Vacnacy- the wanted kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pep Hernandez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Hernandez does no damage.
Lashley misses with a two punch combination.
Hernandez misses with the combination.
Lashley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Lashley drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lashley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lashley wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.

Lashley has gone for a leg lock! Hernandez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lashley's guard.
Lashley is breathing heavily.
Hernandez trying to control the position from guard on top but Lashley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Lashley doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Lashley kicks Hernandez off and gets to his feet.
Hernandez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hernandez misses with a combination

and Lashley counters with a single leg into guard. Hernandez didn't expect that.
Lashley wants to control from the top but Hernandez keeps moving.

Hernandez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lashley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hernandez pushes a forearm under Lashley's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lashley is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
