Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Catapang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nimos Oiky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oiky is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In The Morning. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nimos Oiky!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Catapang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Oiky wants to get back to full guard.
Oiky is looking to control Catapang's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Oiky avoid being mounted?
Catapang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Oiky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oiky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Oiky won't allow Catapang to pass to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Oiky misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Catapang or perhaps it was just good defense by Oiky which made him look bad.
Oiky feints and then cracks Catapang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Catapang down.
Oiky throws a quick inside leg kick.
Catapang misses the jab.
Catapang takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Catapang shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Oiky is staying active underneath Catapang, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Oiky is looking for a sweep. Catapang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Catapang is looking to advance position but Oiky won't allow it.
Catapang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Oiky does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Oiky is holding on to half guard well.

Catapang wants to take a breather but Oiky is having none of it.
Oiky wants to get back to full guard.
Catapang not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Catapang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oiky tries to avoid it but Catapang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oiky to the ground. Oiky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Oiky throws a head kick that Catapang semi-blocks.
Catapang doesn't manage to clinch there - Oiky circles away.
Catapang is looking to clinch but Oiky is avoiding it.
Oiky misses with a head kick.
A head kick from Oiky lands but Catapang takes it in his stride.
Oiky throws a sloppy head kick and Catapang moves out of range easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Catapang.

Catapang is breathing heavily.

Catapang shoots in and drives through. Oiky sprawls well.
Oiky turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Oiky lands a nice looking kick to the body. Catapang takes a step back to recover.
Oiky throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Catapang's head.

Good leg kick by Oiky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Oiky. Catapang shrugs it off though.

Catapang takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oiky lands a brutal head kick. Catapang looks out on his feet and Oiky throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
