PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fucke Keith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Rogalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keith comes to the cage accompanied by Tool. Paul Rogalski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Fucke Keith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Paul Rogalski!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rogalski.

Rogalski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


It looks like Paul Rogalski has been cut.
Rogalski takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Keith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rogalski thows a body shot but no joy.
Rogalski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Keith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rogalski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Keith.

Rogalski throws an overhand right that lands on Keith's shoulder, as Keith tries to avoid the shot.
Rogalski scores with a sloppy right hand. Keith should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keith lands with an uppercut that bounces Rogalski off the cage and back into rage.
Keith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rogalski defends it nicely.
Rogalski throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A slow jab from Rogalski misses its intended target.

Keith misses with a takedown attempt - Rogalski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Keith jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rogalski is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rogalski and Keith has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rogalski pushes Keith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Keith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Keith scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rogalski to see if he's OK.

Keith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Keith goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rogalski has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Keith but great work by Rogalski.

That was a close round but I would say that Fucke Keith will probably get the nod.

Keith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rogalski is fending him off so far but Keith persists. Nope, Rogalski circles away and we're back to standing.
Keith thuds his right hand into Rogalski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Keith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogalski throws out the jab.

That has opened up Paul Rogalski's cut even more.

Keith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rogalski was covering up waiting for the punch and Keith finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Keith works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Keith is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rogalski is just riding it out for now. Keith eventually gives up the hold.

Keith is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rogalski defends it well.

Well Keith has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
