The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
torres looks for a takedown but McDermott sprawls well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from torres.
McDermott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mike McDermott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of chuito torres.
McDermott clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McDermott lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
