The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mitchell is trying to control Burner's posture but Burner avoids it.

Burner decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mitchell to his feet.
Burner is looking to clinch.
Burner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mitchell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mitchell throws a right hand that Burner ducks under and follows up with a left that Burner also avoids with ease.

and Burner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mitchell's guard now.
Mitchell has a closed guard, preventing Burner from standing up.

Mitchell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Mitchell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Burner moves into range and clinches up with Mitchell.

Burner is working for takedown but Mitchell is calmly controlling the position for now.
