Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenji Ono!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Baker!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker throws a lazy right hand but Ono sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Ono darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Baker throws a solid leg kick but Ono takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Baker.

Ono closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Baker to the mat! Baker manages to get full guard.

Ono drops back looking for a leg! Baker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baker manages to kick Ono off! Ono jumps back into Baker's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ono bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Ono shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baker napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Baker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ono. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
