Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kru Knod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geoff Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Diamonds Aren't Forever. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geoff Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison doesn't manage to clinch there - Knod circles away.
Knod looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morrison is fending him off so far but Knod persists. Nope, Morrison circles away and we're back to standing.
Morrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morrison lands in his opponent's guard.
Morrison gets to his feet - Knod follows without any prompting.
Knod rushes Morrison and presses him up against the ropes.
Knod looking for a takedown.
Knod lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Morrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Knod smiles and moves away.
Morrison fails to land the takedown.
Nice body kick there by Knod .
Knod stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knod wants it to stay on the feet.
Kru Knod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Geoff Morrison.

Knod displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morrison.
Knod fails with a takedown attempt.
Knod scores with a jab to the head.
Morrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Knod .
Knod doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Morrison counters with a shoot takedown. Knod fights it but they end up in guard.
Morrison stands up from guard. Let's bang!

and Morrison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Knod won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Let's hope that Morrison has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Morrison is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Knod knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Morrison tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morrison has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Knod is trying to control Morrison's posture but Morrison avoids it.
Morrison controls the position from side control.

Knod knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morrison on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Knod is looking for a sweep.
Knod is not content to let Morrison control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Morrison decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Knod 's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Morrison wants to control from the top but Knod keeps moving.

Morrison slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Knod is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Morrison is controlling him well.
You can see the frustration on Knod 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Knod wants to control but Morrison postures up.
Morrison is working to tighten is grip on Knod 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Knod has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morrison is really squeezing tight and eventually Knod passes out! Morrison breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
