Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnathon Caines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melendez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Douglas. Caines has chosen Lose Yourself by Eminem as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnathon Caines was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caines takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Melendez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Melendez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Caines, pushing him back against the cage.

Melendez manages to break the clinch.
Melendez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A right-left combo lands from Melendez.

It looks like Johnathon Caines has been cut.
Caines slips a jab and a cross from Melendez.
Melendez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Caines backs up against the cage.
Caines looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Melendez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Melendez lands a left and a right that send Caines crashing to the mat, dazed. Melendez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Caines is rocked!

Melendez scores a takedown into full mount!
Caines is still in real trouble! Can Melendez finish him?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Melendez is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Melendez closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Caines out cold! Caines corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
