Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evangelista Morientes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radical Bruiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruiser has chosen Billionaire as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morientes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Morientes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bruiser to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Morientes shoots for a takedown but Bruiser saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bruiser drops down looking for an ankle pick but Morientes pulls his leg out and moves away.

Bruiser closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bruiser wants to take a breather but Morientes is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morientes is trying to stand up here but Bruiser is controlling him well.
Bruiser seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morientes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bruiser uses his free foot to push down on Morientes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Morientes.

Morientes has gone for a leg lock! Bruiser slips out almost immediately though and dives into Morientes's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Morientes wriggles free and stands up.
Morientes scores with a jab. Bruiser acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Bruiser moves into the clinch.
Morientes goes for a takedown attempt but Bruiser pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Morientes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bruiser.
Bruiser dives in and grabs Morientes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morientes pushes down on Bruiser's head and hops out.

A close round but Radical Bruiser will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bruiser goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Morientes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bruiser but great work by Morientes.

Morientes decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Bruiser counters with a head kick.
Morientes tries to clinch there but Bruiser circles away.
Morientes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bruiser sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Bruiser shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Radical Bruiser showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Morientes leaves Bruiser with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Morientes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bruiser as he jumps to the side.

Bruiser shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morientes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Morientes is working an open guard so Bruiser takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bruiser looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morientes is doing well to control the position and prevent Bruiser from advancing to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bruiser is looking for a kimura here.
Evangelista Morientes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Radical Bruiser is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
