Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between New York Baroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estan Quieroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baroni tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Baroni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Quieroz.

Quieroz makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Baroni postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Quieroz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Baroni, into his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Baroni pushes Quieroz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Estan Quieroz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Baroni's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Quieroz throws a lazy right hand but Baroni sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Baroni shoots for a double leg takedown but Quieroz sprawls well. He's pushed Baroni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Baroni looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Quieroz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Quieroz loads up on a big right hand but Baroni slips the punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quieroz might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
