Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samiro Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by If you smell what the rock is cookin'.... Kahric comes into a darkened arena with his song building. B00M kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kahric swivels and escapes.
Kahric drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Kahric tries for a takedown but Johnson manages to get underhooks.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Kahric holds him up against the cage and eventually Johnson drops back down to his feet.

Kahric breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

No joy there for Kahric, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kahric napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Kahric counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kahric jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Kahric gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kahric defends it nicely.

Kahric throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kahric fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.
Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Kahric throws an elbow but misses.
Kahric is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Kahric jumps guard but Johnson stands there with Kahric around his waist. Kahric gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dwayne Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kahric gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kahric swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Kahric had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kahric was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
