The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yschenko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Peppertooth throws a leg kick but Yschenko sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Yschenko scores with a kick to the midsection.
A swing and a miss from Peppertooth.
Yschenko ducks under a wild hook from Peppertooth.
Peppertooth swats away the attempt to clinch by Yschenko.
Yschenko moves in looking to clinch but Peppertooth pushes him off.
Peppertooth fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Yschenko is out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Yschenko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Yschenko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peppertooth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Peppertooth seems a little lost for a moment, as Yschenko dominates the positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peppertooth has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yschenko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peppertooth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yschenko throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
