Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Toygar Alparslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puiu Ciprian Micu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micu has chosen Day Three: Pain as his entrance music. Puiu Ciprian Micu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Toygar Alparslan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Micu throws a head kick that misses.
Good work by Alparslan as he checks the leg kick.
Micu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alparslan is fending him off so far but Micu persists. Nope, Alparslan circles away and we're back to standing.
Micu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alparslan as he avoids it easily.
Alparslan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Micu.
Alparslan tries to clinch but Micu moves out of range.
Alparslan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alparslan wants it to stay on the feet.
Toygar Alparslan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Puiu Ciprian Micu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alparslan doesn't manage to clinch there - Micu circles away.

Micu throws a strike but Alparslan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Alparslan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Alparslan or perhaps it was just good defense by Micu which made him look bad.
Alparslan wants to clinch but Micu slips to the side

so Micu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Alparslan is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Micu frees his head nicely. Oh but Alparslan has switched to an armbar! Micu is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
