The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry tries for a takedown but Spoakin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Spoakin forces Perry back against the cage and clinches.
Perry tries a body shot but Spoakin blocks it.
Perry tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Spoakin's elbow.
Perry lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Spoakin.
Perry pushes Spoakin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Spoakin scores with a shot to the side of Perry's head.
Perry wants a takedown.
Spoakin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Perry tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Spoakin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Perry backwards.

It looks like Dwayne Perry has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spoakin tries to work over Perry's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

and Spoakin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spoakin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Perry looks to clinch
enabling Spoakin to counter with a crisp jab.
Perry closes the distance but Spoakin moves to the side
and Spoakin counters with a right hand to the body.
Spoakin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Perry with a lazy takedown attempt
and Spoakin counters with a left and a right that stings Perry.
Perry on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Spoakin. Spoakin obviously looking to wear him down.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Spoakin! Perry is out on his feet! Spoakin rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Perry is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Perry is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
