Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Haynes circles away.
Haynes throws a one two combo.
Haynes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Johnson at a distance.
Johnson is breathing heavily.

Haynes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haynes showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Haynes is looking for a kimura here.
Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haynes on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haynes did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.

Oh but Haynes is tightening it up a little... Johnson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight!
