The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a hook but De Guzman blocks it.
De Guzman takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Khan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Khan lands with a straight right. De Guzman didn't see that one coming.
De Guzman misses with a jab to the body
enabling Khan to counter with a crisp jab.
A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.
De Guzman misses the shot to the body.
De Guzman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Khan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Khan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Guzman moves away.

De Guzman lands a nice hook to Khan's body. Khan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Khan lunges at De Guzman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by De Guzman's hand.
De Guzman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Khan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd cheers as Khan lands an impressive looking overhand right. De Guzman doesn't seem phased though.

and Khan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Khan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck De Guzman on the side of the head.

Oh De Guzman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

De Guzman is looking to wear down Khan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Khan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps De Guzman thinking.

and Khan counters with a huge left! De Guzman is in big trouble! He's backing up but Khan isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save De Guzman from any more damage. A dominating finish by Khan!
