Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seamus John James Given (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paul Poulter was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Given moves out of range of the body kick from Poulter.
Poulter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Given checks the leg kick.
Poulter tries to work over Given's front leg with a kick but Given checks it.
Poulter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Given checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Given blocks the body kick.
Poulter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Poulter dodges the punch combination from Given.
Poulter misses with a low kick.
Poulter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Given is out of range and Poulter settles back down.
Given throws a right and a left that both miss.
Poulter tries to work over Given's front leg with a kick but Given checks it.
Given throws a low kick but it's checked well by Poulter.
Poulter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Given moves into range and connects with a jab.
Poulter scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Given blocks the body kick.
Given will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Poulter lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Seamus John James Given has been cut.
Given takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Given is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Poulter misses with a leg kick
and Given counters with a nice body kick.
Given thows a left - swing and a miss!
Poulter throws a nice outside leg kick.
Poulter circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Given drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Poulter follows Given to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
