Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mickey McDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Mcmannus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcmannus has chosen Right Now as his entrance music. The key to victory for Mickey McDougal has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmannus misses with a body kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for McDougal.
Mcmannus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mcmannus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McDougal.
Mcmannus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDougal.
Mcmannus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mcmannus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mcmannus shoots in for a takedown but McDougal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcmannus tries a head kick but it misses.
A good leg kick by McDougal.

Mcmannus closes the distance and clinches.

Mcmannus manages to break the clinch.
McDougal slips a jab from Mcmannus.
McDougal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mcmannus scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mcmannus looks up at the clock and then as McDougal takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mcmannus smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
McDougal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcmannus on the ground.

Mcmannus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McDougal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mcmannus looks gassed!

Mcmannus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mcmannus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mcmannus tries to advance to mount but can't.
A lull in the action here as Mcmannus stalls from top position.
McDougal is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mcmannus is controlling him well.

McDougal wants to get back to his feet but Mcmannus is dominant here and he's now got McDougal's back!
McDougal is trying to get back to his feet but Mcmannus has full control of the position and if anything, McDougal has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Mcmannus really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for McDougal.

Mcmannus has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. McDougal is defending well but eventually Mcmannus manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! McDougal has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
